What is your go to indulgent meal?
I just love all food. I could never discriminate and just choose one indulgent meal!! If I had an entire day to indulge (and never get a tummy ache) I would start with New York Bagels with Cream Cheese, Cinnamon Rolls, Gyros with hand cut French Fries, hand tossed Pizza, Fried Dough, grilled Flank Steak with loaded Bake Potato, Bread pudding, Strawberry Short Cake and local beers to pair with each meal!! Yup! I am a glutton! 🙂
What is your favorite song on your workout play list?
“Sail” by Awolnation or any remix of this song. There is something I find so sexy about this song!
What is your ultimate goal in the fitness industry?
I will never have an ultimate goal because that would be setting a limit. I hope to only surprise myself.
What has been the greatest challenge or obstacle you’ve overcome in your life?
The greatest challenge I have had to overcome is betrayal. A huge challenge in my life but also a turning point. This is when I found myself and my self worth. I am grateful for all my challenges and obstacles because it is truly what has made me who I am today. I have no idea who I would be without my hardships.
What advice would you offer to other woman that are facing challenges, struggles or obstacles in the life?
MAKE THE CHANGE. Forever I teetered on healthy and a box of wine and doughnuts. There finally came a time that I decided that I would not be the chubby mom. You just have to make that decision and seek the resources to help you change your life. Just DO IT.
What is one of your favorite motivational quotes?
“Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change” unknown

By myself!! I love to chit chat with other gym goers but prefer to workout alone….unless your a total goof ball and can provide lots of laughs.

Moderation. Enjoy your food but don’t lose sight of your goals.
What ways have you found to make eating healthy more interesting/tolerable?
Recipes!! I keep it interesting and ever changing. I never stick to the same foods for every meal. I don’t get bored and still enjoy my food.
Who have been your biggest life supporters? Have you been surprised by anyone that supported or didn’t support you?
My husband, my sisters and my mother. My husband has always been my biggest cheerleader. My sisters and my mom have always been there in my corner.
Which traits do you admire about yourself?
I am caring, spontaneous and love to have fun!
What is one thing you would like to experience in life?
I would love to travel more. I would love to experience Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. I would just love more life experiences.
What’s one thing you value the most in relationships and friendships?
Authenticity. I value real relationships.
What’s one skill or talent you would like to master?
Glass blowing! How cool is that talent!!?
How do you spend your free time?
I take care of my three young boys, home school, cook and bake, fundraising, workout (a lot), watch documentaries, google nutrition information, garden and catch up with friends.
What does the term “Transformation” mean to you as a Woman?
I went though a traumatic experience where I was completely broken down and had to rebuild myself. While struggling to overcome life obstacles I became a new person. I found a self worth I hadn’t known before. I found an independence and strength I never imagined. I am ME and stopped identifying myself with anyone else. My “transformation” began when I became raw and decided what I wanted from myself.
Looking back into your past do you see yourself as a before and after or an ongoing change?
I am an ongoing change. I hope to only get better.
Do you have self doubt and how do you handle those negative thoughts/feelings?
Of course!! I have to self reflect and remind myself that I deserve and capable of extraordinary things.
If there is one thing you could tell your “pre-transformation” self what would it be?
I love you. It is ok not to be your best self. Be patient and let the process just begin. Get out of your own way.
What is your next obstacle that you will overcome?
Emerald Cup 2017!
